Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of These Terms
By booking, attending or participating in any tour operated by London With A Local, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Free Public Tours
Our public walking tours are free to attend and do not require payment.
Guests are welcome to leave a gratuity for the guide at their own discretion based on the value of the experience received. Tips are entirely voluntary.
Private Tours
Private tours are provided at the agreed price confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment must be received in full before the tour date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or secure card payment link.
Cancellation and Refunds

By the Customer
Private tours cancelled with more than 14 days' notice will receive a full refund.
Private tours cancelled with less than 14 days' notice are subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of the total booking value.
Private tours cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule a private tour with less than 48 hours' notice will be treated as a cancellation and a new booking may be required at the full tour price.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a private tour, a full refund will be provided.
We shall not be liable for any indirect losses arising from a cancellation, including accommodation, travel or other related expenses.
Tour Changes
We reserve the right to alter routes, meeting locations, timings, guides or itineraries where reasonably necessary due to weather, transport disruption, public events, demonstrations, security concerns, guide illness or other circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically capable of completing the tour.
Guests should wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for London's weather conditions and the amount of walking involved.
Participants must follow any reasonable instructions provided by the guide for the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any person whose behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive, intoxicated or otherwise creates a safety concern.
No refund will be provided where a participant is removed due to misconduct.
Children
Children are welcome on our tours.
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult throughout the tour.
Accessibility
We aim to make our tours accessible to as many people as possible.
Most tours are suitable for wheelchair users and guests with mobility requirements. However, we encourage guests to contact us in advance so that we can provide information about routes, surfaces and any temporary access restrictions.
Photography
A group photograph may occasionally be taken during a tour.
Photographs may be used on our website, social media channels or other promotional materials.
Guests who do not wish to appear in photographs should either avoid joining the group photograph, inform the guide at the start of the tour, or contact us afterwards and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.
Liability
Participation in our tours is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, London With A Local shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from participation in a tour.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
