Free London in a Day Tour*

Meeting Point - Tower Hill Station

Duration - 6 Hours

Language - English

Start Time - Currently Unavailable

Price - Free

If you are short of time in London or just want to cram everything into one jam packed day, then this is the tour for you. We combine the Royal Westminster and the Historic City of London tours to bring you the highlights of both, with a stop for a pub lunch in the middle.

In the morning, you will follow the evolution of the City, from its roots as the Roman city of Londonium, to the occupation of the Vikings, the Norman Conquest, the construction of London's own medieval castle, the Great Fire, the Blitz and its growth into the modern banking industry that stands there today.

In the afternoon, we move onto the City of Westminster, the political and Royal home of London for the last 1000 years, seeing some of the Worlds most famous palaces and churches and hearing the stories of the monarchs, politicians and revolutionaries who shaped Britain.

At first glance, these two neighbouring boroughs may appear the same, but in reality they could not be more different or wary of each other's power and influence.

If you want to visit all of London's landmarks in one fell swoop, then you won't want to miss this tour.

Meeting Point - Tower Hill Underground Station

We begin next to the Tower Hill Tram Refreshment stand, just outside Tower Hill underground station. The station is on the circle and district line, and around a 10 minute walk from Monument/Bank and Aldgate.

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the tour starts, it gives you plenty of time to meet the guide and grab a coffee or ice cream!
